9. This morning I was persuaded to get out of bed by the phone ringing. It was a friend who was checking to see that I was still alive.

    Lovely photo Galaxy! It's great to see what you look like. Strange thing is I realise you're close to how I imagined. That doesn't usually happen.

    When I first saw this photo of myself I burst out laughing: sans make-up, slightly geeky, trying to be a bush walker in my corduroy hat...

    I'm not sure what compelled me to post a picture of myself, especially since I generally try to be incognito; it had a lot to do with this particular photo.
