BIFF Tweet
The marathon starts tomorrow for me. I've bought 2 film student passes that will let me see 10 films, plus I'm planning to go to see a free screening of the silent film Siren of the Tropics which stars Josephine Baker and will be accompanied by some live jazz piano.
I've decided to Tweet my responses from the festival. If you're interested, you can follow the Twitter feed in the margins of this blog, or sign up to follow me through Twitter proper. I promise to Tweet about things more interesting than freezing cold journeys at night on the bus back from the Palace Centro at New Farm.

yay!
I'll follow you twittering about BIFF!
Have fun - drink much coffee and take carrot sticks with you. Worked wonders to prevent me getting sick in my second BIFF year!
And did I ever tell you about the great (and cheap and fast) Japanese teriyaki place at the bottom of the Myer Centre - great for nutritious fast BIFF meals, if you need them... (if it still exists)
I think I know the place. Next to Sushi Train, across from Boost Juice?
Anyway, I decided that Twittering was the perfect solution to all those incomplete and never posted posts I was constantly promising in previous years. I came across a couple of half formed ones the other day--I seemed to have liked that Terry Gilliam film that you didn't like. The one about the young girl who slipped off into fantasy land, because of all the trauma going on around her. I can see why you hated it tho'. People I went with had the same reaction as you.
